ELECTRIC WINDSCREEN

You'll notice a couple of things about the 2023 Honda Gold Wing's windscreen. First, it's electrically controlled, moving up and down over a 4.9-inch range for the Gold Wing Tour and changing its angle as it raises and lowers. Plus, it automatically remembers the last setting.

How many valves does the 2023 Gold Wing's engine have?

The Gold Wing's horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine is famously smooth and powerful. The latest version is a 1833cc design, over 13 pounds lighter than the previous generation. The High-strength aluminum cylinder sleeves help reduce weight, increase cooling efficiency, and reduce engine length. The 73mm cylinder bore, and the short, high-strength crankshaft help make the engine more compact. The Gold Wing's engine uses a four-valve, Unicam cylinder head design that improves engine performance and power and contributes to its weight reduction from its previous generation. The four-valve-per-cylinder design is also a big part of the Gold Wing's superior fuel efficiency.

Does the Honda Gold Wing have Apple CarPlay?

The Gold Wing's cockpit meters are information central. In addition to the basics like vehicle and engine speed, loading configuration, ride mode, fuel level, engine temperature, and dual trip meters, you can also monitor outside air temperature, cruise control speed, heater levels, and even selected apps linked through Apple CarPlay on an iPhone or Android Auto on an Android phone. Correct tire inflation is a necessity for safe, economical motorcycling. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System automatically warns of low tire pressure on all Gold Wing models.
